Welcome to Cyber Citizens

Strengthening the sense of European belonging and fortifying EU citizens´ capacity for civil participation by sharing good practices and strategies.

The project

This small-scale partnership brings together three organizations that work with adults and promote their endeavours to provide high-quality training and services to their target groups.

This project places its focus on strengthening the sense of European belonging and fortifying EU citizens´ capacity for civil participation by sharing good practices and strategies.

The CYBER CITIZENS project will yield as its result a platform that conglomerates different sources of information across the EU and will show adult trainers how to utilize this platform to promote digital active citizenship through a Learning, Teaching, Training Activity:

The ZEMUS platform will be exhibited in a series of workshops targeting cross-generational audiences. Improving the competences of educators and other adult education staff: the project´s priority is to develop the competences of the organizations´ members with the goal to supplement and improve the levels of adult education in France, Germany and Luxembourg with a cross-generational focus.

Priority will be on strengthening the supporting role the adult education staff has in motivating, guiding and advising learners about civic participation and the use of various platforms.

Through this project, the local organizations and their staff members involved in the activities will be supported in their endeavours to practice teaching methodologies that promote civic participation and social inclusion offering the tools to adults from diverse groups to participate and actively engage in the European society and political sphere.

The partnership intends to bring together societal sensitivities and European public opinion, by organizing cyber-citizen educational workshops in different intergenerational places (media libraries, socio-cultural centres, schools and universities, senior citizens’ clubs, etc.).
